Kachette – Interior
Located in an old railway arch; I fabricated internal metal doorways and windows to fit with the walls curvatures.
I approach projects with craftsmanship, care and creativity; producing tailor-made work with a passion for transforming found objects. From bespoke chairs, light signs and sculptures, to organising teams for design and manufacture of large-scale fit outs.
I can do conventional but love the unusual.
Eyal has a rich history of working with reclaimed materials. His career began in Tel Aviv, where he crafted furniture, sets for theatre and metal sculptures for an award-winning art collective. This led to collaborations with leading design studios and cultural mainstays in the UK – including Heatherwick Studio, the Southbank Centre, the Barbican as well as radical counter-culture artist Joe Rush. This diverse range of experience informs the practice of edelmanos today, enabling work that spans a broad range of materials, scales, and environments.
Eyal thrives on impossible seeming briefs and is able to contribute through the whole process of design, fabrication and installation.
“I am constantly discovering ways to improve what I create, how I create it and why.”

“Eyal is someone you can go to if you have a complicated problem and need a thoughtful, intelligent solution. He is reliable and committed to the task. He is serious but also a pleasure to have on the crew and will work well alone or as part of a team.I cannot recommend him enough” (Project: Numerous – Most recent Glastonbury on Sea, 2010-).
“Nothing fazes Eyal. He has an incredible ability to turn his hands to anything. And if he can’t do it, he quickly joins the dots, finds people to assist and gets the job done, on time and on budget. Eyal is a joy to work with.” (Project: bespoke furniture designs, plus a sculptural ‘Rollercoaster of wheelbarrows’ on London’s Southbank).
“Eyal was a delight to work with. He turned a dream roughly sketched onto a piece of paper into the most beautiful doors for my boat. He removed the old wooden doors and fitted the new ones with multiple safety mechanism. It’s now been over 3 years since the installation and I still love them and receive loads of compliments from passers by on the river” (Project: Manufacturing and fitting of narrowboat steel frame and doors, 2019).
“His deep level of experience and competence allows him to foresee issues in the most complicated of projects. He provides any team with a high level of value and consistently produces excellent results” (Project: Two custom staircases from Steel and Oak, 2019).
“Eyal was a mainstay of our organisation and we miss him still. Impeccable organisation skills, good humour, highly conscientious and completely trustworthy we would put our lives in his hands” (Construction Manager, 2019).
“Eyal is great to work with – he is both creative and pragmatic and knows is stuff in matters of design and fabrication” (Project: Corten Door Handles, welding, Kew House).
